An event veteran since 1985, she founded Visual Elements in 2006 to fill a niche in the Nashville event industry. With over 25 years experience, Carol has worked as a corporate planner, event producer, event designer as well as an industry supplier. She understands the needs of the clients so that they may accomplish their event goals. Carol works closely with the client to create a visually interesting aspect to their events.
A 20 year veteran of the hospitality industry came to Visual Elements as one of the first employees in 2006. He has been and still is involved in every aspect of an event from the initial concept to its installation. Working with some of our largest clients, he provides good customer service with a humorous flair.
Shannen graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Mass Communications. After graduation she moved to Orlando, Florida where she immersed herself in the Event Industry. With an extensive background in event planning, event furnishings, and event rentals Shannen Stewart exudes a refreshing willingness to learn about the industry and expand her expertise to better serve her clientele. In 2012 she moved back to Nashville and almost a year later was asked to help open Quest Drape Nashville. Shannen is the Regional Business Development Manager for Quest Drape the parent company of Visual Elements. Over the past three years, Shannen Stewart has served as Sponsorship Chair for the WOW Awards, a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, active participant for the National Association of Catering and Executives, Special Events Committee for Meeting Planners International and most recently serving as Vice President of Membership for the International Special Events Society for the Nashville Chapter. She has also served on the judging committee for the 2014 ISES Esprit awards.
Sara graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2015. While in college, she focused on communication, conflict management, strategic problem solving and Spanish, which allowed her to graduate with a major in Organizational Communication. During college, she spent time with United Way and on the Event Leadership Team at the American Cancer Society on several committees including social media, marketing, and special events. While Sara has been a part of our team as an intern and then as a crew lead since 2014, she was hired as a Producer in January 2016.This experience has given Sara an abundance of skills that help to execute a flawless event. Sara has an enormous passion for events, an upbeat personality, and can grasp your vision for any event.
